The Val Senales Glacier Ski Resort is suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers, offering 42 kilometers of slopes served by 11 ski lifts, which start at an altitude of 2,011 meters and reach up to 3,212 meters, allowing skiing from September through late May.
Upon reaching the mountain station, you can enjoy a scenic panorama that includes the peaks of Similaun, Wildspitz, and Palla Bianca, all over three thousand meters high.
Skiing and snowboarding on the Val Senales Glacier is an experience every mountain lover should have, with the eight kilometers of the Schmuggler slope descending to the valley with a 1,201-meter vertical drop, or the challenging black slope Leo Gurschler, used by professional slalom and giant slalom athletes for training.
On the glacier, the slopes are primarily easy and medium, while those on Teufelsegg are mostly of high difficulty. The resort also includes the valley slopes of Lauzan.
As mentioned, the minimum altitude is 2,011 meters and the maximum is 3,212 meters, with a vertical drop of 1,201 meters.
The ski area is fully equipped to offer a 360° service, including ski and boot rental, FISI ski school, and is part of the Ortler Skiarena consortium.
The slopes, all located on glaciers above the tree line, span a total of 42 km, with blue – easy 10 km (24%), red – medium 18 km (43%), and black – difficult 14 km (33%), of which 60% can be artificially snow-covered.
