The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area is located in the Tyrolean region of the same name, a plateau at an altitude of around 1200-1400 meters overlooking the valley formed by the upper course of the Inn.
Named after the three towns within its territory, it is a charming region nestled in a picturesque and ancient landscape typical of Tyrolean culture.
Abundantly sunny for most of the year, it allows visitors to enjoy the facilities pleasantly throughout the winter as well.
The ski area extends over 214 km of slopes, reaching an altitude of 2828 meters.
The activities offered in the resort are extremely varied and perfect for every type of visitor: from families with children who can enjoy specially designed areas for the little ones; to skiers, both experienced and beginners, who will find wide and perfectly maintained slopes; and to lovers of all winter sports (snowboarding, snow-kiting, snowtubing…).
The more than 200 km of groomed slopes include 47 km of blue (easy) slopes, 123 km of red (medium difficulty) slopes, and 28 km of black (difficult) slopes.
There are also 30 km of cross-country ski trails (23 km of which are at high altitude) and 10 km of sledding tracks.
Freeriders will find 16 km of off-piste routes. Additionally, there are a carving route and a mogul slope.
Safety on the slopes is guaranteed until spring, and beginners can also take advantage of two of the best ski schools in Tyrol.
The ski storage is located directly at the departure point, and there are 68 lifts throughout the resort, equipped with the latest technology for maximum comfort during transport.
There is a funicular, 11 cable cars, 16 chairlifts (8-, 6-, and 4-seaters with heated seats!), 11 ski lifts, 29 conveyor belts, and several rope tows.
As mentioned, for children, there is a wealth of choices, including snow playgrounds (one in Serfaus and one in Fiss-Ladis), adventure trails, and six fun areas.
Additionally, parents can also enjoy their vacation thanks to the babysitting services at the Murmlikrippe and Bertas Kindergarten snow nurseries.
And there’s no shortage of fun for adults either!
The more adventurous can try various high-altitude activities such as the cable glider, the suspended swing, a zipline, or, for those who fear heights, the thrilling Schneisenfeger, a sledding track on rails.
For those looking to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, there are three panoramic platforms on Pezid, Zwölferkopf, and Masnerkopf, at 2770 m, 2600 m, and 2828 m respectively, and you can end the day at the numerous wellness areas in the resort.
To recharge after a day on the snow, there are 28 mountain restaurants and 4 Schirm-Bars, with a wide range of “après ski” activities and entertainment.
The fun doesn’t stop in the evening, with options like night skiing, sledding nights, and many other attractions to make sure your snow vacation never ends!
