For skiing enthusiasts, the Merano 2000 resort is truly a must-visit. It is located near Merano, in the beautiful region of Trentino, and offers its guests over 40 km of slopes for skiing and snowboarding. One of the unique features of the Merano resort is its location, as it is very close to the city but at the same time an oasis of peace and wellness that allows everyone to unwind and fully enjoy nature. It consists of 7 lift systems and is easily accessible by a cable car that reaches the top of the descent in just 7 minutes. The total altitude ranges between 1,609 and 2,350 m.
The resort offers all kinds of entertainment to satisfy its visitors. In addition to ski slopes, there are also trails for snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and freestyle: everyone can find the perfect environment for their favorite sport. There is also a great offering for the little ones, as Kinderland, with its snow kindergarten, provides the ideal place for children to take their first steps on skis. For those with a sweet tooth, the resort features 15 alpine huts where you can rest between descents and enjoy local cuisine or simply a hot chocolate with cookies.
Among the special activities available at the Merano 2000 resort is a horse-drawn sleigh ride with Avelignese horses, following a path that winds through snowy forests, allowing for the discovery of the unspoiled nature surrounding the area.
